That’s a wrap for the 2015-2016 ACM Washington DC Board!

The July 24th 2015 blog post entitled, “Tech Talks, Cyber-Dojos, Hour-of-Code – What is DCACM up to?” Written by the 2015-2016 board (consisting of Dr. Shahnaz Kamberi, Chair, Katherine McClintic, Vice Chair, Mike Salera, Programs Chair/Treasurer, and Amar Zumkhawala, member-at-large) listed the three paths the newly appointed group at the time was going to take.

The three paths included, organizing tech talks, performing K-12 STEM outreach, and sponsoring other non-profits. As a group of volunteers and busy working adults with families and other responsibilities, the board came together and planned on pulling off at least 6 events from July 2015 – June 2016. As this team’s term comes to an end, the board is happy to report that we have exceeded our initial plans!
