BiopicProfessor Douglass received his Aeronautical Engineering bachelor’s degree from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute in New York. He received his MBA from the University of Texas in Austin. He began his career as an Engineer in the Westinghouse Electric Corporation. After several years in the industry, Dr. Douglass returned to school to get a Ph.D in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute. His degree covered digital electronics, computer architecture, and control systems theory. Dr. Douglass was an assistant professor of electrical engineering at Texas A&M University, and later was a self-employed researcher developing patents. He is currently a member of the faculty and faculty chair at DeVry University in the College of Engineering and Information Sciences.
