Our April Presentation was on “Mathematical Theory of Computer Instructions and Statements” and it was presented by Dr. Douglas Maurer.
Professor Maurer received his BS in Mathematics from the University of Chicago and his MA and Ph.D in Mathematics from Berkeley. He was for over 30 years on the George Washington University faculty. He has written six books and has almost 200 published papers, mainly in the mathematical theory of computer science.
