SIG-BEER is a long standing tradition in the world of ACM. DC ACM is proud to present: SIG-BEER with a twist, as we bring a guest speaker along to share brews, buds, and good times.
At our first SIG-BEER, on May 25th at7pm, will be the organizer of the Capital Area Cloud Computing User Group, Andy Zhang. Our last venture with Andy was our fall lecture: “Cloud Computing, is it Really New?” at the Washington Academy of Sciences.
Andrew, our Communications Chair, will also be in attendance for anyone interested in talking about DC ACM and what it has been up to in the past year, and what we’re thinking about in the future. Eric our PD chair may share what classes may be upcoming.
Danielle, our event organizer and hostess supreme of the happy hour has arranged specials for the group of $2.50 Cocktails, Draft Beer, and House wine.
Draft Beer: Miller Lite, Bud Lite, Heavy Seas IPA, Blue Moon, Brooklyn Lager, Guinness, Evolution Exile ESB, Stella, Yuengling, Sam Seasonal (Noble Pilsner), #9, Sierra Nevada.
Please come out and spend time with your fellow hacker, stackers, nerds, geeks, wonks and wannabees and let Andy Zhang know what you think about Cloud Computing or just the beer you’re quaffing.
Please RSVP here so we have a head count:
