Professional Development

The PD Committee focuses on events that help the career path of professionals in their technical field.

Examples of what we have done already are resume workshops and weekend interactive lab seminars.  Our seminars have covered  Network Intrusion Detection systems, Android development, iPhone development, Hardening Operating Systems, and IT Project Decision Making and Risk Evaluation.

In order to produce these events, we rely on continuously developing partnerships with Comp Sci and Info Tech college and university departments, ACM Public Policy, and companies focused in technology training and certification.  We are also interested in partnering up with career advisers and recruiters willing to donate their time to help individuals figure out their career interests and improve their  job seeking skills.
