Committees

Our chapter’s committees represent our abstract strategic objectives.

Within our committees, we plan our strategy and funding for activities that help the local DC community.  Our first committee, Professional Development, focuses on advancing careers of local professionals in their respective technical fields.  Our 2nd committee, Communities of Practice, focuses on events that sample from and support groups that center around certain types of tech.  Our 3rd committee, Membership, is geared towards nurturing our core community that will adhere to a high standard of ethics, support our chapter events with dues, and maybe eventually, be the next round of individuals who decide the future of this chapter and its community offerings.
